trancetheory aka john miszt, John is the co-founder of Misztifiedmind UTSc & Recs with Silky. Starting out with a tiny rig of crappy speakers and a group of luvly people in a field in gravesend, John has moved things forward constantly, wanting to promote the sound of underground dance music he loves so much. There are no genre boundries as far as we are concerned, with so much amazing music around we felt that limiting ourselves to a few was just not the right way to go.

There arent many places you will hear euphoric trance, electro/breaks and dark side drum and bass played together to a crowd that just wants to soak it all up and enjoy the blissful vibe, but Misztifiedmind is one of those places!

John has spent the last 3 years developing his sound and bringing it to the UK underground and club scene, including venues like the legendary SeONE, Coronet theatre, Hidden and many more, aswell as many underground indoor and outdoor events.

trancetheory is the project by John Miszt, a fusion of uplifting, progressive and psy trance, and everything that surrounds the genres, born out his love for the underground trance scene in the UK.

With previous releases already out on Bonzai/Forty5 & Misztifiedmind Records, Johns album 'glimpse inside' is finally ready for release at the end of Summer 2008!

Sweeping melodies, spine tingling leads and soundscapes, fused with huge psychedelic basslines, these pounding tracks make up the core of 'glimpse inside', and serve only one purpose, to send the dance floor into complete euphoric meltdown.

With residencies at Misztifiedmind & PsyCircle Events, and radio shows on PsyMusic (formally psy-stream), John loves nothing more than getting up on stage and watching the crowd submerse themselves in his music, and get a glimpse inside his mind!
